These rear struts ARE EXTREMELY RARE!!  They are for 1955 to 1957 Chevy Sedan Delivery.  The station wagon rear door struts are different.  The Station wagon struts use a button to unlock the struts.  The sedan delivery struts have no buttons, you simply lift the rear door up, it unlocks on its own and you close the door.

You can use these as they are, restore them, chrome them, or paint them.  They do work, but are original and probably should be restored.  Danchuk makes a rebuild kit for the station wagon struts and they will also work on the sedan delivery struts as well, I have used the kit to restore a set for my delivery.

I included a picture of the Sedan Delivery I restored as an example.

Don't be like the rest, with the WRONG struts, or aftermarket gas struts, go original!!

BMW Vision Gran Turismo: Coming soon to a console near you

Wed, 21 Aug 2013

BMW's Vision Gran Turismo will be hitting TV screens across the world on 6 December as it joins the growing list of cars featured in the next Gran Turismo racing sim game for PlayStation. The sports coupé was created using cues from BMW's racing experience while the aerodynamic elements were developed using the carmaker's knowledge from the racetrack. It looks like the lovechild of a 6-Series and one of automotive futurist Daniel Simon's creations – in a good way.

Nissan North America will stray from the discount-deal marketing pitch adopted late last year when a sinking economy kept consumers away from U.S. dealerships. A TV ad campaign that begins on Thursday will tout the loftier messages of safety, quality and performance.

BRABUS reveals the world’s most powerful estate car!

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

German tuning firm BRABUS has revealed the new Mercedes E 63 AMG-based BRABUS 850 6.0 Biturbo estate… which (as suggested by its name), at 850hp, takes the title of world’s most powerful road-legal estate car. The monster Merc dutifully delivers some monster performance figures – indeed, the firm’s actually had to electronically restrict its top speed to 186mph in order to protect the tyres – it would otherwise shoot way, way beyond the 200mph mark. The potency of this estate car is truly eye-watering.
