1955-1957 Ford,t-bird, Mercury Aluminum Valve Covers,new, Y-block,312, 292, 272 on 2040-parts.com
Greenlawn, New York, United States
Here we have a NEW PAIR OF FINNED ALUMINUM VALVE COVERS FOR THE 1955, 1956 & 1957 THUNDERBIRDS AND ALL Y-BLOCK FORDS & MERCURYS, AND TRUCKS. These valve covers are made in America and are an exact duplicate of the Original Ford Supplied units. These covers were part of the Ford option and over-the-counter supplied Dress Up Kits. Being Cast Aluminum, then sanded and polished, some of these units have minor imperfections, which I have pointed out in the last few photos. Since they are not perfect, I have priced them accordingly. When mounted on your Y-block motor, these minor imperfections will be hardly noticeable. Since these Valve Covers are about 1/2 inch taller than the original sheet metal covers, a special mounting kit is required to mount them on your y-block. I have these kits listed on another of my ebay listings. If you purchase the mounting kit with the valve covers I will waive the kit shipping charge. Mounting kit includes kit contains reusable rubberized cork valve cover gaskets, and each long studs, grommets, chrome flat washers and Chrome acorn nuts. This is a duplicate of the original hardware supplied by Ford on vehicles with these Valve covers. I charge actual shipping cost, never any packing or additional charges. Shipping Charge is a little higher than usual, since these covers are heavy. I will also combine shipping costs on multiple buy so check out my other ebay listings.. I Accept Paypal and any other Approved method of Payment.. I try to describe all items honestly and to the best of my ability . Any Questions .or need more photos...please ask. Thanks for your time. I will be listing other 55-57 T-bird and Ford passenger car parts, so please check back every so often. I will ship locally or just about to any country BUT :Foreign Bidders Please Contact me before bidding! to receive approximate shipping cost estimate.

Ford Fiesta ST concept (2011) at the Frankfurt motor show
Tue, 13 Sep 2011This is the new Ford Fiesta ST, just unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It’s just a concet car for now, but we know a production version of the new Ford Fiesta ST will be revealed at the 2012 Geneva motor show, and that sales will start in the UK in time for next September’s plate change. It’s the same format Ford followed with the Focus ST, revealing a near-production concept at the 2010 Paris motor show, and then pulling the wraps off the real thing last night.
Councils to cut roadworks red tape
Tue, 19 Aug 2014COUNCILS in England could soon have the power to cut red tape and make road works much quicker and more accountable. The plan is to introduce permits for any company that wants to dig up a road, which means they will have to co-ordinate their work with other companies and local authorities to reduce the impact of delays on the public. The permit scheme could come into force as early as April 2015 and means anyone applying for a permit to carry out road works will need to present a convincing case for the work.
