This is an original glove box door lock guide plate. This nylon plate is uniquely Thunderbird and was used on all 1955-1957 Thunderbirds. It attaches to the Thunderbird dash board and the arm of your glove box lock goes thru the center of the guide. This insures that the arm will strike the latch in the right position. UPDATED Aston Martin shuts historic factory

Much of the historic site will be sold and turned into offices and homes. It brings to an end a long and distinguished history of car and carriage making at Newport Pagnell - stretching all the way back to the 1820s.

Which is what this car essentially is, as the demand for 100 Aeromax hardtops was just so great that Morgan decided to build another similar model. The Supersports uses the same 4.8-litre V8 as the Aeromax, comes with a wood and leather-covered interior and features a bonded aluminium chassis that is cloaked by superformed aluminium panels.

But it doesn’t stop there. In an unguarded moment Audi’s Design Director Stefan Sielaff said that the ‘Design Grammar’ of the A8 would extend in to the S8, the S7 and the S1.
