This is an NOS transmission input shaft bearing in the original Ford box, Ford part # B5S 7025-A. This bearing was used in all 1955-1957 Thunderbirds with a 292 engine and standard, three speed transmission; all 1955 Thunderbirds with an overdrive transmission; 1956-1964 Ford passenger cars with a 292 engine and standard or OD transmission and the 1957 Ford passenger car with a 312 engine and standard transmission. Aston Martin signs Christian Klien as final factory driver
Wed, 23 Mar 2011Ex-Formula One driver Christian Klien has completed Aston Martin Racing's factory driver lineup, the team said on Wednesday. He will join his new teammates in the all-new LMP1-class 007 AMR-One in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Klien competed in 49 F1 races since 2004 and drove for Peugeot in Europe's Le Mans Series, and in 2008, he had both the fastest lap and finished third in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Chrysler developing new supercharged Hemi V8
Mon, 20 May 2013Chrysler Group is developing a supercharged Hemi V8 with power approaching the 640 hp of the SRT Viper's V10. The 6.2-liter engine, code-named Hellcat, is expected to debut on the next-generation Dodge Challenger and perhaps other vehicles, according to sources within Chrysler. The engine's existence was revealed on the Internet site Allpar.com and confirmed by Chrysler insiders.
Infiniti JX crossover revealed at Pebble Beach
Thu, 18 Aug 2011After a month of teasers and tidbits, the Infiniti JX Concept was finally revealed in its entirety on Thursday in California, ahead of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The seven-passenger, three-row crossover concept is expected to appear largely intact as the production 2012 Infiniti JX next spring. Styling cues were obviously borrowed from the Essence concept, but the JX also seems to have a bit of Volvo XC90 in the greenhouse and even a touch of Mitsubishi Lancer in the front grille aperture.
