1955-1959 GMC Pickup Original Tailgate.

Has some minor dings and a few areas that were re-welded and need to be ground smooth, so please look closely at the photos. That being said, this is actually a very straight and solid tailgate that will restore to nice condition with a little effort. These Original GMC tailgates are getting very hard to come by and are not being reproduced with the correct GMC script..

If you are in need of other parts for 1955-1959 GMC trucks, please look at my other listed items by clicking on the link in the upper righthand corner of this page. I will be posting new items daily. I travel great distances to purchase and retrieve these trucks. Some I restore, the ones that are too far gone to save are disassembled so that their parts can be used to put other trucks back on the road. I use the shipping calculator and do not proffit off shipping or handling. Please inspect the pictures closely, as they are always the best description. I try to point out any imperfections or flaws. If you are unhappy with a part, please let me know and I will do what it takes to make it right, as I value my 100% Positive Feedback Rating and strive to earn repeat business. Thank you for looking.

MASERATI has kicked off a new era of brand activity with the arrival of its Ghibli compact luxury saloon. The company’s stand at the Los Angeles Auto Show launched a new slogan and philosophy, called ‘the absolute opposite of ordinary’, to journalists ahead of the show’s public opening. The Ghibli will spearhead the new initiative, which sets out the company’s stall for the foreseeable future as it tries to carve a bolder new path to create bigger waves in the luxury car world.

First Sight: Fenomenon Stratos

Tue, 01 Mar 2005

The Geneva Show sees a surprising newcomer to its stands in the shape of Fenomemon Ltd and their concept Stratos project. This new London-based vehicle design agency is led by a current student on the Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design course, Chris Hrabalek, who has masterminded a complete full-size mockup of a reborn Lancia Stratos concept for this year's Geneva Show. In a world where multinational companies spend several million dollars on a concept car and stand, that's a phenomenal achievement.

2011 Hyundai Coupe – Hyundai Veloster – teased

Wed, 05 Jan 2011

The Hyundai Veloster - teased ahead of the Detroit Motor Show For all that Hyundai – and for that matter sister company Kia – have managed to become in the last few years, we need only look towards one car that signposted their potential – the Hyundai Coupe. Cheap as chips – certainly for what it offered – the Hyundai Coupe was a cracking drive and actually looked rather good. Some even claimed it was trying too hard and looked too much like a Ferrari.
