I have been manufacturing these bearing cap re-enforcements for over 15
years. Proven virtually indestructible, they help eliminate the possibility of
cap failure in the front load ( pumpkin style ) rear ends that are used in 1955
- 1964 Chevrolet and Canadian Pontiac full size cars, and 1955 - 1963 Corvettes.
Other versions of this concept have been used for decades in the past. This IS the most refined, and most effective of all. When combined with the other upgrades that are available, these rear ends have been used in cars with an excess of 500 HP.. including my own NHRA Stock Eliminator 409 4 speed car. VW Passat R-Line introduced
Mon, 18 May 2009The VW Passat R-Line introduced in the new Passat range But the Passat R-Line (which will be available in both saloon and estate versions) is not really an addition to the Passat range, rather a re-working of the current model options. The Passat Sport and Passat SEL are dropped, and the new range now comprises S, R-Line and Highline. But, just as with the Tiguan R-Line, this is not a power upgrade but merely a cosmetic one.

Fri, 30 Nov 2012The electric Tesla Model S – which won’t arrive in the UK until at least late in 2013 – is going up in price in the US and gets a spec change. The Tesla Model S is perhaps, just perhaps, the only really credible electric car so far; a luxury ‘Sports’ saloon car that offers range almost comparable to an ICE car and, it seems, prices that aren’t an awful lot different. That makes it a far more appealing prospect as a replacement for an ICE car than anything we’ve previously seen.
