We recently acquired a large trailer load of classic car and hot rod parts from a lifetime collector and this distributor was in that batch of parts. This is a Mallory dual point distributor and the number on the tag is 2548201. From our research we believe it fits most Chevrolets from 1955 to 1980, but we are not 100% sure, so verify that if you can. It appears to be in very good condition, it is clean with no obvious defects. It comes with the maroon colored cap you see in the last picture, but the cap is dirty and I don't know how good it may be, so count on replacing the cap. The TwinRun is the latest in a series of wacky Renault concept cars, following the Twizy RS F1 and Twin-Z supermini into the limelight.

Which is a far from bad move. The 1750i Turbo manages to deliver 200bhp and a decent amount of torque – 236lb/ft from only 1400rpm – which makes it distinctly brisk – 7.7 & 7.8 seconds respectively to 62 mph for the Brera and Spider.

Focus RS Review

Fri, 23 Oct 2009

We test Ford's impressive performance Focus - the 2009 Focus RS I may not hail from Essex – Ford’s home in the UK – but I’ve lived here for the biggest part of my life. So although I never indulged in the Essex-boy blinging of the most prosaic cars on the road I’ve ended up with a soft spot for quick Fords. And in particular RS Fords.
