The Bentley Continental V8 flies across Munich The Bentley Continental V8 made a dramatic public debut in Munich when it was flown to the SkyLounge for its launch. The plan to debut the new Bentley Continental V8 (apparently we shouldn’t call it the Continental GT V8, just the Continental V8) in Germany in Munich’s SkyLounge might sound like a perfectly reasonable thing to do. After all, every car maker needs a ‘venue’ for a launch to make an impact, and something called the ‘SkyLounge’ sounds like it might make a good backdrop for Bentley’s newest toy.

Vauxhall Ampera - European Car of the Year 2012 The Vauxhall / Opel Ampera (& the Chevy Volt) has won the European Car of the year 2012. Which seems completely stupid. Last year we had a car that almost no one is buying – the Nissan LEAF – voted Car of the Year.

Toyota Auris Touring Sports Specification – but no price

Toyota has revealed specifications for the Auris Estate – the Toyota Auris Touring Sports – but has yet to come up with a price. At the time, apart from learning the Auris Touring Sports was longer than the Auris Hatch, we didn’t get much more from Toyota. But now, ahead of the Auris Touring Sports turning up again at Geneva next month, Toyota has released more detail.
