See all condition definitions Seller Notes:“Used original part. I bought a T86 and then later a T85 3spd manual transmission to retrofit to my 1956 Thunderbird after removing the Fordomatic. Have since spent the better part of a year installing a Tremec 5spd which after cutting the floor hump and other extensive mods required left me with both transmission, which I am selling locally and this shifter. Shifter base is solid, although it had some rust pitting which when I first bought the parts I scrapped, painted with Rustoleum primer and Rustoleum top coat. Not a show piece but totally functional. That said, I have never installed the shifter on either transmission as it had been removed already. Shift rods are included and in checking with Casco, those are $129 apiece. On of the shift rods appears to have been repaired at some point. The other two appear to be factory intact. Shift knob should be replaced or somehow restored. 2011 / 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan Leak It seems clear that Volkswagen are intending giving their compact softroader – the VW Tiguan – a bit of a nip and tuck for the 2012 model year. A little surprise they were planning for next month’s Geneva motor show. But someone at VW dropped a bit of a clanger and posted the photo you see above on VW’s German web site.
