This comes from a car that's been in storage for over 30 years. No rust or damage other than very minor damage to the tip of the RF frame horn tip, but this could easily be fixed. There is also a homemade transmission cross-member, but this is easy to remove. Rolls and steers OK.

1955-7 Chevrolet passenger car original used rolling chassis in excellent condition.  This is from a low-mileage car that was stored indoors for over 30 years, and now this chassis has been replaced with a high-tech 4-wheel disc brake unit.  There is NO rust and the only damage is some slight crumpling to the RF frame horn tip, which would be easy to fix.  There is also a homemade transmission cross-member, but it would be easy to remove.  The body mounts are NICE, as shown.  This rolls and steers OK if you kick the front wheels :)

Fiat unveils new 900cc TwinAir two-cylinder engine

Wed, 07 Jul 2010

You can see how it works in our video below. The new engines, the first in a series of two-cylinders by the Italians, are designed to trump all other downsizing efforts. Headline figures from the 83bhp twin are 23% more power than the regular 1.2 four-pot and the same as a 1.4 16v - yet with 30% less consumption.

MINI First introduced

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

MINI has a new budget model - The MINI First With all things Eco the flavour of the month, and with budgets stretched in households everywhere, a cheap, entry-level budget MINI is a tempting prospect. You still get the iconic shape, and you still get a very good chassis – which translates in to good handling and a decent ride – but you’re not paying a fortune for the fripperies. After all, there are MINIs that will set you back £25k (the MINI JCW Cabriolet), but the new MINI First is a very tempting £10,950.
