Up for auction is a GM original upper rear window garnish for 1955 Chevrolet 2 door sedan or 4 door sedan. The upper garnish molding in its factory original paint is in very good condition, free of dents, dings. There is very light surface rust with NO PITTING as pictured. All of the support tabs on the backside are in excellent condition as shown in picture #4 and #5. This hard to find piece has been off since 1971, so it does not have the issues so many others have. Jaguar XF 2.0 litre EcoBoost for China
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Jaguar are to fit the 2.0 litre EcoBoost engine to the XF for the Chinese market as a more affordable entry point for the XF range. Even though Jaguar Land Rover are yet to get official Chinese Government approval for their Joint Venture with Chery, China is already a big market for them and, just like other luxury car makers, they are willing to produce cars just for the China market. According to reports from China, the Jaguar XF is about to get the 2.0 litre EcoBoost engine from the Range Rover Evoque to create a new entry-level Jaguar XF at a more appealing price point.
VW Beetle GSR Limited Edition gets 207bhp
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Volkswagen are launching a limited edition of the Beetle – the VW Beetle GSR – with yellow and black paint job and 207bhp. The Beetle GSR stays relatively faithful to the paint job on its granddad with the bonnet and boot of the GSR in black, as are the roof and mirrors, and there are yellow and black stripes with ‘GSR’ lettering on the sides, all setting off the yellow paint job and 19″ alloys completing the exterior. Oddly, despite the GSR paying tribute to its 1970s predecessor, you can also order your GSR in Platinum Grey or Black. Inside, the new GSR gets R-Line racing track sports seats with cloth upholstery and yellow stitching )although our Colonial cousins get full leather) and a leather steering wheel with the build number – 1 to 3,500 – on a badge on the wheel, R-Line dash, GSR gear stick, leather handbrake cover and black mats with yellow trim.
