THIS IS A 1955 CHEVY 265 V8 SHORT BLOCK.  IT WAS REBUILD AND WAS RUNNING BUT I WAS TOLD IT SUFFERED FROM LOW OIL PRESSURE.  I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THE REASON IT HAD LOW OIL PRESSURE WAS BECAUSE A LATER HEI DISTRIBUTOR WAS INSTALLED AND THIS CAUSE A LACK OF LUBE TO THE CAM BEARINGS.  MOST LIKELY WILL NEED TO BE DISASSEMBLED CLEANED AND NEW CAM BEARINGS INSTALLED.  I HAVE PURCHASED A SET OF CAM BEARINGS THAT WILL BE INCLUDED.  THE PISTONS ARE .040" OVER SIZE. INSIDE OF MOTOR LOOKS VERY CLEAN AND DOES LOOK TO BE RECENTLY REBUILT.  COMES WITH OIL PUMP AND PICK UP BUT NO OIL PAN.  I CAN INCLUDE TIMING COVER AND BALANCER IF SOMEONE WANTS THEM.  NUMBERS ARE AS FOLLOWS:  BLOCK CASTING  3 GM  3703524, DATE CODE A195. SERIAL NUMBER 0II2I83T55F.  CRANK HAS 3875822 AND SHOULD BE A FORGED CRANK. MOTOR TURNS OVER BY HAND AS IT SHOULD AND CYLINDERS SHOW NO SIGNS OF WEAR LIKE WAS RESENTLY REBUILT. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN JUST THE CRANK OR RODS AND PISTIONS, I WILL SEPERATE. PLEASE CONTACT ME.  SHOULD BE ABLE TO PUT A GOOD SHORT BLOCK TOGETHER WITH VERY LITTLE EFFORT AND EXPENSE.  WOULD PREFER LOCAL PICK UP OR COULD POSSIBLY DELIVER WITHIN A FEW HOURS OF MY HOME ZIP 07506. I WILL BOX IN IN WOOD FOR $50.00 AND WOULD SHIP IT THROUGH YRC FOR BEST SHIPPING RATE I CAN GET BUT MUST GO TO COMMERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL ADDRESS WITH FACILITY TO BE ABLE TO UNLOAD. PLEASE CHECK PICTURES AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE PURCHASE.  SELLING OFF ALOT OF MY PARTS THAT I WILL NEVER GET TO USE.  PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR OTHER PARTS.  I ALSO HAVE A FEW CARS FOR SALE MID 50'S CHEVY WITH EXCELLENT BODIES AND ALOT OF NEW PARTS.

New 2015 Nissan Murano SUV teased ahead of New York reveal (video)

New Nissan Murano teased ahead of New York debut The Nissan Murano may no longer be sold in the UK, but that is likely to change with the arrival of a new Murano, teased ahead of its debut at the New York Motor Show next month. The new Murano will be Nissan’s halo SUV, and its design is based on the Nissan Resonance Concept we saw at Detroit last year featuring something Nissan called ‘V-Motion’ design. That means design that flows from a statement grill and boomerang-like headlights along strong crease lines on the flanks to a kick-up shape at the rear.

Ford to launch 25 new models in Europe in next 5 years

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

The new Ford S-mAx (pictured) is just one of 25 new Fords heading for Europe Ford of Europe has had a miserable time of late, with the European market in disarray as the Eurozone crisis continues to rumble and car buyers on the continent shy away from big ticket purchases. But, just as they did in the US, Ford are making plans to cash-in when the Eurozone economy improves in the coming years (not that that’s an absolute given) and are going to ready with a raft of new models to tempt mainstream buyers when economies start to grow and car finance becomes a realistic option for more once again. Barb Samardzich, Ford’s head of product development in Europe, says Ford are planning to make their portfolio of products the best ever in anticipation of a recovery, with a huge 25 new models launching over the next five years, and they will be additions to the Ford line-up or new generations, not variants.
