Condition:Used

Original left front fender mount antenna with cable and bracket from a 1955 Chrysler Windsor. This might fit other years and/or other Mopars. The antenna mast is broken off flush, bezel and mounting parts in poor shape. Cable is still attached, but the end is broken/missing on the radio part. So, this part might be worth very little if anything. The mounting bracket is usable, clamps to the antenna and attaches to the lower lip of the front fender. The 2 lower bolts twisted off, but I was able to get the broken parts removed. the other 2 were stuck bad. One came loose OK, the other came out, but stripped the threads on the way. So, I installed a sheet metal screw. Not original but works fine. If you only want the bracket, shipping will be a couple bucks less, refunded back to you. Look close. Rare parts, low prices. See my other auctions.

I am parting out a 1955 Chrysler Windsor 4 door. Watch my upcoming auctions for lots of parts. Ask if there is anything you want listed.

Lighter parts are sent by USPS. Heavier parts are sent by Fed Ex. I live in the country and Fed Ex has recently moved farther away still. So, I have to drive 25 miles there and back, or pay them $4 per package to stop here. Bubble wrap, tape and packaging materials cost money. I sell my parts at a low price, and sometimes lose money after shipping and fees. I don't "pad" my shipping costs, but try to at least break even. If the actual cost is somewhat less, I always issue a refund. Thanks for understanding.

Maff Muron Porsche Cayenne

The Maff Muron Porsche Cayenne - a step too far! Gemballa do extreme versions of the Porsche Cayenne, like the Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS, which looks like a four-wheeled Darth Vader. But at least I sort of see the point of its extremes.

Concept Car of the Week: AMC Amitron (1967)

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

While the American auto industry spent most of the late ‘60s creating huge barges powered by monstrous engines with loud decals on disco paint jobs, AMC believed in the future of compact cars, fuel economy, and go-faster stripes. Designed under Richard Teague's supervision, the quirky Amitron was unveiled in 1967 in a hotel in Detroit. Measuring less than 2,200mm long, it is 350mm shorter than a Smart Fortwo and its wide track gave room for three passengers seating abreast.
