This is in the center of the roof, not on the outer edge like the hardtops. It isn't broken, cracked or real fragile. Little mounting tabs still there. Street View not good enough for Google's self-driver

Not only does the company have the necessary funds for such an undertaking, it has the necessary data -- at least one would think. In a Wired article on Tuesday, Google said that even though it has mapped much of the world with Google Street View, those maps won't help its self-driving car.
