THIS IS A NICE RUST FREE 55 THUNDERBIRD BODY. THE BODY HAS HAD SOME METAL WORK DONE BUT IT SEEMS TO BE SOLID AND SHOULD BE A GOOD START FOR A PROJECT CAR. IT DOES COME WITH BOTH DOORS WHICH ARE IN FAIRLY RUST FREE CONDITON AND A USEABLE HOOD AND TRUNK LID. THE FLOORS IN THE CAR AND THE TRUNK FLOOR SEEM TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO MAJOR RUST HOLES I CAN SEE. THE INNER FENDERS AND REAR WHEEL HOUSINGS ALSO LOOK VERY GOOD. THE FRAME COMES WITH THE BODY AND ALSO LOOKS RUST FREE. NO MAJOR METAL REPAIR IS NEEDED ON THIS BODY SO IT SHOULD BE A VERY GOOD START FOR A PROJECT CAR THE DATA PLATE IS STILL ON THE BODY AND IT COMES WITH CLEAR PAPERWORK. Jaguar reveals the Cars & the Stars for the 2014 Mille Miglia
Tue, 29 Apr 2014Jodie Kidd in a Jaguar XK 120 ahead of the 2014 Mille Miglia The real Mille Miglia ended in 1957 after a series of crashes saw it cancelled, but it returned in 1977 as the Mille Miglia Storica, a glorious event run over 1,000 miles of beautiful Italian roads featuring cars that ran in the original Mille Miglia. Jaguar has a big history with the Mille Miglia, and has taken to using the annual event to roll out stars to drive its cars for maximum coverage of Jaguar’s Heritage. 2014 is no different – although the number of entries is lower than in previous years – with ten classic Jaguars, including XKs, C-types and one D-type, taking to the Italian roads in May and piloted by a diverse range of star drivers.

Vehicle emissions are down and fuel economy is up, EPA reports
Thu, 15 Mar 2012The Environmental Protection Agency released its emissions and fuel-economy report for 2010. Adjusted emissions are down across the board, at 395 grams of carbon dioxide per mile. That's a record low for the post-1975 database.
