Good morning, today we have a 1955 PONTIAC - STAR CHIEF / CHEIFTAIN 860 / 870 - ORIGINAL FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL SUPPLEMENT up for auction.
The book is in a good used condition. The manual comes from a former GM dealership, and as such has been used by the mechanics in the dealership. It may have some dust and stains, and greasy finger prints on some pages.
The book covers the following Pontiac Series: CHEIFTAIN / STAR CHIEF. All models of each series are covered, 2 Door, 4 Door, Convertible and Station Wagon.
The book is large , and is approx 7/8 inches thick and has over 800 pages. It contains all the information that a mechanic needs for the repair of these type of vehicles.

Even though this book is for a 1955, I am sure most information can be used for later year models as well, as there was not many changes between the years.
These books are invaluable if you are able to do your own repair work. A similar manual on a car I owned saved me over $800.00 on a repair that I could do myself, as opposed to having a dealer do the service work.
This book should pay for itself after only one use.

Inc., coping with a rising yen and an earthquake-shattered supply chain, announced price increases today that average 1.7 percent for many 2011 Toyota, Scion and Lexus models. The increases range from $65 for the small imported Scion xD, to $900 for two of its larger vehicles, the Toyota Land Cruiser and Sequoia SUVs, as well as several Lexus models.

Mercedes-Benz has scooped three first prizes at this year's Automotive Brand Contest. The competition's jury selected Mercedes-Benz's design team as ‘Team of the Year', while the Mercedes-Benz CLS was given the award for ‘Best of Best' in the exterior category. The interior of the Concept A-Class also picked up the award for ‘Best of Best'.

You can see the Bertone Pandion from almost anywhere within the giant halls at the 2010 Geneva motor show. It might be low and sleek, but the rear-hinged scissor doors run almost the entire length of the car and stand over 3.6 metres high when open. It’s quite a sight.
