YOU ARE VIEWING A    1955 PONTIAC CHIEFTAIN STEERING WHEEL NOS?  IN   VERY GOOD  CONDITION. We believe this to be NOS as it doesn't look to have been mounted on a car. Very nice condition. The ribbing on the underneath of the wheel is all spaced with no ware down. It has one crack/line on the hub [center] when holding it left bottom part where there is a little chip in the round part at the hub. The horn ring [not included we don't have one] should cover this so not to be seen. The crack/line might buff out? There is a mar or maybe paint rub on the top of the hub so maybe a little touch up of paint is required. It does have some shelf ware [rub/scratches all should be fixable] as its been sitting a long time All in all its really good and rare to find in this condition. Remember its 59 years old.  HARD TO FIND ITEM . PLEASE EMAIL QUESTIONS. PLEASE read our terms & conditions: We do our best to describe our items with the correct year and make when we are sure what they fit. We have been in the vintage parts business for over 20 years and are collectors, so this is just not a business to us we love old cars!! You as the bidder should make the final identification. Please ask questions PRIOR to bidding, We do not accept returns. Please look closely at the pictures and any part # or measurements before bidding. All our parts are sold “as is”, Even if they are NOS they may not be mint, as they have been around a long time. Peugeot puts RCZ designer on Twitter

Fri, 18 Jun 2010

Like many automakers, Peugeot is now making conspicuous use of social media platforms as a component in its new car launch campaigns and in order to manage customer relations online. For its new RCZ coupe, Peugeot in the UK has been running a social media campaign under the strap line "It chooses you", with associated Twitter and Facebook accounts – which culminated with a member of the public winning an RCZ last week. For auto designers, there was little interest in the campaign up until last week, when Peugeot put RCZ designer Boris Reinmöller behind a computer terminal and opened him up to a public Q+A session through its Twitter account.

Ford B-Max at 2012 Geneva motor show

Thu, 09 Feb 2012

Ford has today opened up its new B-Max, literally. The new B-Max is almost a wanton show-off next to the Fusion that it replaces. It's a mini-MPV with sliding rear doors, a bit like those on the ill-fated Peugeot 1007.

So what exactly does it cost to service a McLaren MP4-12C?

Fri, 17 Feb 2012

McLaren MP4-12C - almost affordable servicing With the McLaren MP4-12C now in the wild, and some of the first cars getting towards their first service, we thought we ought to have a look at what the new McLaren will cost to maintain. For a variety of reasons, today has been about chatting to a number of McLaren MP4-12C owners (more on that another day) and one chap who’s bought a 458 Italia instead of McLaren because the servicing is free. Yes, in case you didn’t know, Ferrari now throw in free, unlimited mileage servicing for 7 years on the 458 (and all new Ferraris), and it’s transferable to subsequent owners too.
