~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Original vintage Softcover published in 1955 with 23 pgs . . . a Factory published catalog.
Midget Motors was located in Athens, Ohio
This is a RARE issue of "The Midget Motors Directory," a bi-monthly sales listing, trading post and parts locator for owners of gasoline motors, Midget racers, Midget cars, motor scooters, motorcycles, motor bicycles and small-engine power equipment!
Interesting story to the “Directory” . . . a vehicle for selling Midget Motors products as well as “form in one handbook, all of the bargains in small vehicles and equipment on which we can obtain information . . . we do not charge for listing any small motorized vehicle in the directory . . .
In addition to the company’s advertisements for their products, this contains Classifieds of people who are trying to sell their Indian Motorscooters . . . Briggs engines . . . Harley Davidsons ~ Johnson Outboard motors ~ Cushman scooters etc.
That 1952 Harley Davidson 125 with 10,000 miles will cost you $200! Or perhaps you prefer the 1947 Doodlebug motorscooter for $60 or the 1952 Whizzer motorbike for $150 . . .
And while the new Viva will be a significant step up in terms of refinement and sophistication over its 1963 namesake, it’s clear that Vauxhall is keen to tap into the current trend for producing low cost cars that’s proved so successful for the likes of Dacia.
