Put up for auction is a new old stock (STD) full set of main and rod bearings for 1956-57 368 Lincoln. This are the old TRW original Clevite 77 bearings. Boxes have been around for years and look like it. Bearings seen to be fine. I have a lot of Lincoln engine part/spares after a restoration project. Look at my other auctions for more Lincoln parts. Sun, 14 Mar 2010NASCAR legend Richard Petty was joined by celebrated racers Carroll Shelby and Don Garlits on Saturday at a seminar at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in Amelia Island, Fla. Shelby was filling in for Sir Stiling Moss OBE, who was injured a week ago after falling into an elevator shaft at his home. The three racers regaled a packed house with stories from their careers.
2013 Aston Martin DB9 doubles down with vaunted V12
Tue, 18 Sep 2012The 2013 Aston Martin DB9 is getting a power boost thanks to parts and pieces from under the hood of the upcoming Vanquish. The updated DB9 borrows some of the engine architecture and hardware from the Vanquish, enabling output from the 5.9-liter V12 to reach 510 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. Those are considerable increases compared with today's car, which is rated at 470 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque.
