Very Good Condition. Repainted in 1964. No de-laminations. A few scrapes on edges. See Photos.

Used ORIGINAL FACTORY Hood #3726735 for 1956 and 1957 Corvettes, in very good condition.

Repainted RED in 1964. Probably not original Corvette Red.

STORED  (AS A SPARE) SINCE 1967.

No damage on external surface

A few chips on perimeter that are easily repaired.

Per Chevrolet Service Parts Book this hood also fits 1953, 1954, & 1955 Corvettes, but has 2 winds splits (raised longitudinal bumps)  not present on earlier hoods.

The hood will be shipped via UPS or FedEx.

Engineers 'most likely' to crash

BUILDERS and bakers are among the best drivers while engineers and estate agents are among the worst, according to a survey. Based on accident figures per profession, the survey showed that persons classing themselves as 'administrators' were the safest drivers, followed by painters and farmers. Builders were the sixth-safest on the list compiled by insurance company 1st Central, with bakers eighth.

Porsche reports big drop in sales

Well, it’s not exactly a surprise, given the doom and gloom in the industry at the moment, but Porsche has just reported a 27% drop in sales, down to 34,000 units, over the last six months. As you would expect, some models fared worse than others. The recently updated Porsche 911, which has had mid-cycle tweaks including the new PDK ‘box, held up pretty well.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer gets Ford with 1-millionth Sync system

It's taken a little more than two years for Ford to build 1 million vehicles with the Sync entertainment and communications system, and the automaker marked the milestone by having Ford CEO Alan Mulally deliver a Ford Fusion hybrid with the 1-millionth system to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Ford also let Mulally, a former Boeing executive, make a return visit to Seattle, home to the Microsoft headquarters. Microsoft supplies the software that is the heart of the Sync system.
