1956 1957 Corvette Seat Bottom Frames, Seat Back Frames, Retainer Rings on 2040-parts.com
Ringoes, New Jersey, United States
Up for auction is a set of seat bottom and seat back frames as well as retainer rings for 1956 and 1957 Corvettes. The frames are in good condition and are ready for seat covers.
I bought these for my 1960 project. However, when I started the re-upholstery job I found out the hard way that 1960 covers and foam cannot be mounted on 1957-1957 frames. I had been under the impression that the frames for 56-60 were the same. A review of the Al Knock catalog indicates that the price of reproduction frames alone is over $3,000.00. These can be had for considerably less. Shipping cost will be determined at the time the auction ends. I am guessing that it will be in the neighborhood of $100. Paypal or check. A check will hold up shipment until the funds have cleared. If you wish to discuss any aspect of this listing you can call Ed at 609 529-8171. |

Jim Haggart joined the AA in Glasgow in August 1966 as a 16-year-old cadet after spotting the opportunity in a newspaper advert. The 64-year-old has helped an estimated 87,000 motorists with car trouble - between 1,500 and 2,000 a year - around the west of Scotland, rescuing animals, young children and even babies that have been accidentally locked in vehicles.
