This is a RH and LH pair of complete door striker plates, Ford part #B7S 7022008-A and B7S 7022009-A, pair of the NOS insert teeth, Ford part # B7S 4022040-A and pair of the RH & LH covers B7S 4022.014-A and B7S 4022015-A. These striker plates are assembly line originals used on all 1957 Thunderbirds and also fit all 1956 Ford passenger cars, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys. These three piece design striker plates replaced the 1956 one piece design plates for the front and rear doors on 1956 Ford passenger cars, Lincolns and Mercurys. They are one of the 50 items on the CTCI excellence in authenticity for '57 Birds. Perfect for a concours restoration! Mon, 13 Jan 2014Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge would get over 500bhp The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept was actually revealed in photos by Infiniti 10 days ago, but now it’s had a proper Detroit reveal and, although just a concept, it offers promise. Yes, the Q50 Eau Rouge is about Infiniti cashing some of the kudos they get from sponsoring Red Bull, so we get lots about the Q50 being inspired by F1, F 1 flappy paddles, F1 aerodynamics… But the fact is that the Q50 Eau Rouge does look promising and Infiniti has made a decent fist of adding go faster bits and bobs – including carbon fibre, inside and out – without making the Q50 look silly. But what’s most interesting is that the Q50 Eau Rouge perhaps has the potential to tackle cars like the Mercedes E63 and the BMW M5 if, and it’s still an if, it goes in to production.

Honda expands recall for faulty headlights
Thu, 04 Oct 2012Honda is expanding a recall launched in March to fix a headlight problem to include the Civic and Pilot. About 820,000 vehicles have been added to the recall, which now covers 2002-2003 Civic sedans and 2004-2005 Pilot SUVs. The problem is with the headlight-wiring system, which could cause the low beams not to work.
