Item is a shop manual for 1956 to 1969 models of VOLVO (see the scan for models covered); Chilton Book Company, copyright 1971. The manual is in very good condition with no loose, torn, or missing pages. It does possess some wear to the front cover and back covers (light staining, the remains of two stickers and some minor corner/edge wear). The interior pages are in excellent, like-new condition. See the scans for more details. The white vertical line in the scans is a relic from my scanner and is not a defect of the manual. |

RM Auctions introduces Monaco sale during Grand Prix weekend
Thu, 29 Apr 2010RM Auctions will inaugurate its Sporting Classics of Monaco auction with a sale of 105 prewar and postwar European motor cars. The event, scheduled for April 30-May 1, will coincide with the Historic Grand Prix of Monaco, now it its seventh year. Highlights include a 1938 Delahaye 135 MS Competition Cabriolet, a 1960 Maserati Tipo 61 "Birdcage" and a 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental Cabriolet.
VW to cover maintenance costs for sludge-damaged engines
Tue, 28 Sep 2010Volkswagen AG has agreed to pay maintenance costs under a proposed settlement in a class-action lawsuit over sludge-damaged engines in 479,768 VW and Audi models. Judge Joseph Tauro of the U.S. District Court in Boston gave conditional approval of the settlement last week.
