PACKARD TRIM

I BELIEVE THIS IS A VERY GOOD 56 PACKARD POST TRIM.  OTHER YEARS AND MODELS MAY APPLY.  I BASE MY ASSUMPTION OFF WHAT THE FORMER OWNER TOLD ME.  IF I AM WRONG IN WHAT I THINK THIS IS PLEASE TELL ME.  THE PIECE IS REALLY NICE, BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL TRIM AND WOULD SERVE MOST OWNERS WELL. THE TRIM IS BRIGHT AND DOESN'T SUFFER MUCH FROM DETERIORATION OR DAMAGE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF TINY SCRATCHES THAT WOULD POLISH IF OF CONCERN. THERE IS A TINY BEND ON THE INNER EDGE WHERE IT INSTALLS.  NOTHING YOU WOULD SEE ONCE INSTALLED.  IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE IT IS SO TINY IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SEE WITH THE NAKED EYE.  JUST A REALLY BEAUTIFUL PART.   SO LOOK CLOSELY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A GREAT DEAL.   ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, I AM RATING IT A 4++ based on age, rarity and condition.

I AM honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old parts have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend a lot of money for parts the best you can do are look for those in GOOD shape which this is.

HELLO FRIENDS.  JUST A QUICK NOTE. WE'VE SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME AT SOME OF THE MIDWEST'S LARGEST SWAP MEETS  SEARCHING FOR PARTS.  THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, AND NONE OF THESE.

SO LOOK CLOSELY AND BID IF YOU NEED IT.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY AND CAN HONESTLY TELL YOU THAT THERE ARE A NUMBER OF VEHICLES SOLD WITH LESS THAN PERFECT TRIM.   CHROME AND STAINLESS HAVE JUST BECOME SO EXPENSIVE.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 7 years of selling over a 3000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.  THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

THUNDER ROAD SALES INC NOT ONLY SEARCHES FOR AND SELLS VINTAGE PARTS BUT IS ALSO A KANSAS LICENSED USED CAR DEALERSHIP, SPECIALIZING IN FINDING LATE MODEL, QUALITY CARS, TRUCKS, MOTORCYCLES, HIGH LINE EXOTICS & CLASSIC VEHICLES. Pumped up Chevy previews new Lacetti

Thu, 07 Sep 2006

By Phil McNamara Motor Industry 07 September 2006 08:47 Chevrolet has issued this sneak preview of its forthcoming family hatch – disguised as a World Touring Car. Disregard the pram handle wing, snowplough undertray and steroidal wheelarch extensions, and you have the car to replace the current Lacetti in around 2008. The production model should use GM's next-generation Delta platform, which will also underpin the next Astra and a proposed Saab hot hatch.
