THIS NOS PART WAS OF OFF A 1956 STUDEBAKER POWER HAWK, THE CHROME IS IN EXCELLENT SHOW CONDITION EXCEPT THERE ARE A FEW SMALL PITS IN THE EDGES OF THE GRID FINS ON THE BASE, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE IT IS A VERY NICE ORIGINAL PIECE.

While you might expect that a car that cost more than a million dollars to restore beyond its original glory would be something you'd keep in a sealed zip-lock freezer bag in the guarded basement of a museum, the vast majority of the entries in the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance are actually driven on the street. Or at least they are driven once before the big show.

Tesla touts top sales at Detroit auto show

Tesla credits the "exceptional cold weather performance" of its Model S for 20 percent-higher-than-expected Q4 sales of 6,900 units, bringing total Model S sales worldwide to 25,000 so far. In fact, Tesla says its sedan does so well in the snow that the rear wheels are the only ones that need any torque. "This car performs outstandingly in winter conditions," said Tesla vp of vehicle engineering Chris Porritt in a video released the day of the Detroit Auto Show.
