These are excellent for your 1956 Buick 2dr hardtop or convertible (series 40 and 60)!  I picked these up during the search for my own 1956 Buick Century 2-dr hardtop parts for its resto.  These are getting tough to find with no damage, dents or rust holes. The stainless trims at the front are excellent will never rust and have no scratches or dings. The detail is excellent.  Beautiful upgrade for your fine Buick motorcar. Don't miss it as the opening bid is low! One bid buy both L and R sides.

Note: these garnish mldgs fit many GM cars of the period but I pulled them from a 56 Buick 2-dr. They fit my Century perfectly. They measure 34.25" long overall. (Use pic 1 for the FROM measurement  and pic 2 for the TO measure point) You measure from underside to get the overall length. If you measure from the end of the stainless trim to the back you get 34" even.

Buyer pays $18 (long) and gets USPS shipping in the USA.                                                                Note: will ship on Monday Oct. 14 due to long Birthday weekend! Thanks for your bids.

see my huge feedback profile if you have any reservations about any of my parts, superior quality!

I never charge any fees for handling or packaging as the above shipping charge is exactly what I pay directly to USPS when I mail your part.

Aston Martin Vanquish Carbon Edition – costs £200,000

Sun, 14 Sep 2014

The Aston Martin Vanquish Carbon Edition in Carbon White It’s only a month since the 2015 Aston Martin Vanquish (and Vanquish Volante) were revealed with a series of updates that manage to turn the Vanquish in to a much more appealing car. That new appeal is mainly down to AML finally ditching their ancient six-speed auto ‘box and replacing it with a new 8-Speed ZF ‘box – which cleverly sits inside the old housing – increasing performance, drivability and economy in one fell swoop. The Vanquish now gets to 62mph in a very respectable 3.8 seconds and can top 200mph, despite which official economy improves to 31mpg (more like 16mpg in the real world).

Ice, ice, Bentley

Tue, 29 Oct 2013

BENTLEY is returning to the ice in 2014 with a new and extended programme of slippery driving challenges for well-heeled customers. Popular demand for the company’s exclusive – and massively expensive – Power on Ice experiences has led to an increase in the number of days Bentley is to set up shop at its erstwhile base in the north of Finland, around 37 miles from the Arctic Circle. As ever, ice- and snow-driving specialist Juha Kankkunen, who also happens to be a four-time World Rally Championship winner, will be on hand to tutor paying guests in the delicate art of driving a performance car in difficult conditions.

Volvo V40 teased again ahead of Geneva [w/video]

Wed, 15 Feb 2012

Volvo has released an unusual cartoon teaser video for its new five-door V40, together with an additional image. The animated video features a flock of birds perching on power lines before all but one fly off. Being left on its own to dance on the lines, before fading to black with the words 'Be One of a Kind' appearing before advertising the car's imminent arrival.  Meanwhile the image (left), showing the car in silhouette, gives little away about the design, unlike Volvo's first sneak peek (right), released in December last year.
