This is an NOS accessory parking brake signal for a 1956 chevy.  i'm sure it fits other models, but going by the part number, it for a 56.

the box is not in the best shape.  because of that, a few pieces from the kit were missing.  the light bulb (which i added a new one), one of the mounting screws, lock washers, and nut, and also the spring that keeps tension on the assembly when installed.  my dad made up a spring that will work, and will be included, but it is obviously not correct.  there is a fellow ebay member that is currently selling what i believe is the correct spring for a few dollars (ebay id - partsqueen, item # 251345624842).  so one can be found.  please look at the pics closely before bidding.

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 02 December 2008 09:58 The United Kingdom’s car market is in freefall, CAR has learned. Although official registration figures won’t be released until later this week, we can reveal that retail sales slumped by 45% in November 2008. It’s a crucial metric, retail registrations being actual sales to real people – as opposed to bulk-buy fleet deals to businesses (which are also down).
