56 CHEVROLET ORIGINAL HUBCAPS

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE TRUNK IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS. PLEASE READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION AND LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES CLOSELY BEFORE BIDDING.  THESE HAVE THE ORIGINAL SMOOTH MOUNTS SO WILL REQUIRE 1950S ORIGINAL WHEELS. 15"

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THESE ARE UNRESTORED CAPS THAT ARE IN GOOD OVERALL CONDITION.   ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THERE ARE TWO 15" CAPS. THEY ARE NICE LOOKING CAPS BUT EACH CAP HAS LITTLE SCRATCHES, LITTLE DINGS, BB TO FINGERPRINT IN SIZE AND PAINT DETERIORATION.  EACH HAS A TINY DING AT THE POINT IN THE CENTER.  ONE IS WHITE CENTERED AND THE OTHER IS AQUA. SEE PICS.   LOOK CLOSELY.  WHILE NOT BARRETT JACKSON CAPS THEY ARE TWO OF THE BETTER 58 OLDS CAPS WE HAVE COME ACROSS,  WE HONESTLY DON'T FIND THESE MUCH ANY MORE.   SO PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICS CAREFULLY AND DECIDE IF THEY ARE RIGHT FOR YOU. THEY ARE NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  HOWEVER THEY ARE REASONABLY PRICED, GOOD, UNRESTORED EXAMPLES THAT WOULD SERVE MANY OWNERS WELL.

COOL EXAMPLE FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE THEM A 3 +++.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which this is.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS TOO.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 plus years of selling over a 8000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Fisker Atlantic official The Fisker Atlantic – a smaller range extender car from Fisker – has been officially revealed on the eve of the New York Auto Show. We had the leaked photos of the new Fisker Atlantic a few days ago – a car we’d known as ‘Project Nina until now – but now we have the real deal from Fisker on the Atlantic as the New York Auto Show gets ready to strut its stuff. And we don’t really know any more about Fisker’s new baby than we did before.

Subaru XV crossover teased with photo ahead of Frankfurt

Subaru XV tease photo We understand the tease, we really do. The ability for car makers to get reams of online coverage for every snippet of information they deign to impart ahead of a car launch is powerful. Which is why we have a photo tease for the Subaru XV Crossover ahead of Frankfurt.
