These are the under the engine chassis Belly Pans.
These usually got misplace and or forgotten about. In order to work on the engine from underneath, you had to remove these Pans first. They probably fit both the 55-56 full-size passenger car. They were also called splash shields. Notice the louvers cut in the pan for cooling. |
