This is an NOS carburetor to air cleaner anchor stud, Ford part # B6A 9813-A. This anchor stud was used on 1956 Ford passenger cars which had a Y block, V8 engine and the '56 factory Holley carburetor. The stud has the factory black oxide finish and is ready to install. NOTE: The second photo shows the anchor inserted in a Holley 4V carburetor top. The carburetor top is NOT part of this auction and is shown only for reference. Volkswagen and BYD get cosy
Tue, 26 May 2009VW and BYD have signed an agreement to work together on developing battery technology (BYD F3DM plug-in Hybrid pictured). Volkswagen has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese car maker and EV specialist BYD to work together “in the area of electric mobility”. Seems sensible.
Government launches CO2 website

Earlier this week, at the SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Ltd) HQ in London, Transport Minister Jim Fitzpatrick unveiled the Department of Transport’s online ‘Best on CO2’ car rankings. The new website - www.dft.gov.uk/ActOnCO2 - lists all the cars on sale.
