Up for auction is a 1956 GRAYMARINE 4 cylinder engine that needs to be rebuilt. Perfect for a small boat restoration project. Flathead gasoline inboard marine engine from a 16' Century wooden boat. Probably 60 or 62 hp. Exhaust/intake manifold has a broken carb flange. The engine block is not cracked, but is stuck. Started soaking it with Mystery Oil. Engine comes with; Fuel Pump, AUTO-LITE Starter, AUTO-LITE Generator and Jabsco water pump and shaft off the generator. AUTO-LITE Distributor included but has damaged housing (gears are okay). Great winter project. I would consider delivering the engine in MD, VA, PA, NJ, and NY. for a fee. Will consider crating and shipping for an extra fee. Fire risk Porsche in global recall
Mon, 24 Feb 2014SPORTS car maker Porsche is asking more than 100 UK owners of the latest 911 GT3 models to stop driving them while tests go on following cases of vehicles catching fire. The advice, to 101 UK owners who have paid around £100,000 for their vehicles, has gone out to a total of 785 owners worldwide of the GT3s from the 2014 model year. Porsche said there had been two cases in Europe of cars catching fire.
2011 Saturn Vue: GM confirms plug-in crossover is on track
Tue, 07 Jul 2009A plug-in electric powertrain once destined for a Saturn crossover will live on at General Motors and will arrive in 2011 in another vehicle. GM vice chairman and product chief Tom Stephens confirmed to wire service Reuters that the project remains on track. The automaker was scheduled to bring a plug-in version of the Saturn Vue to market in 2011.

It’s this tiny city car, known by Vauxhall as RAK e, and which we’re going to call the Rake. The name is a modern take on the Rak 2, a rocket-powered Opel that hit 140mph in 1928.
