This is an excellent source of vintage info on the 1956 Desoto Fireflite two-door hardtop, with hemi, Oldsmobile Super 88, the Bentley Saloon, short drive impressions of the 1956 Plymouth McCulloch supercharger test car, and the Citroen DS-19, the cover concept car the Firebird II plus lots more experimental cars inside, a couple snapshots and press release on the Gregoire custom car and Fiat Multipla, two nice pictures of Duesenbergs (one Murphy and one Rollston), a wild custom 1951 Kaiser 4-door, a plea for the US to import the SAAB, and hot rod scene with pictures and articles neat vintage ads for Stewart Warner, Studebaker Hawk and the new Corvette.

Fiat S.p.A.'s boss has confirmed that the automaker wants to form an alliance with General Motors' German subsidiary Opel. "Now we have to concentrate on Opel. They are our perfect partner," CEO Sergio Marchionne told Fiat-owned newspaper La Stampa in a story published Friday.
