Tesla increases Roadster production

Thu, 11 Sep 2008

By Nick Eaton Motor Industry 11 September 2008 11:30 Tesla Motors is about to ramp up production of its Roadster, having secured supply of a new single-speed gearbox from BorgWarner. Tesla began producing the Roadster in March 2008, but all 27 cars so far delivered to customers have effectively been interim models because the original two-speed ‘box was deemed too fragile for long-term use. New Mercedes A Class: Geneva 2012

Thu, 08 Mar 2012

New Mercedes A Class at Geneva We catch up with the new Mercedes A Class (2012) at Geneva and take a look at Mercedes’ answer to the BMW 1 Series. The current A Class was very much a car bought by middle-aged, middle-class Mercedes owners for ‘er indoors.

But now it has a name, and the name is Adam (we also got the Adam ‘writing’ out its own name on the roads of Frankfurt in a rather odd introduction to the new ‘Mini’ car – video below).
