CANADIAN VERSION
PSD-53-21
Good morning, today we have a 1956 PONTIAC - ORIGINAL FACTORY SHOP / SERVICE / MAINTENANCE MANUAL - SUPPLEMENT up for auction.
This supplement has been prepared for use with 1955 PONTIAC SHOP MANUAL and covers additional service information pertaining to the 1956 Pontiac Vehicles
It seems that us Canucks must be dumber than our American counterparts - the Canadian version of GM manuals, are usually better illustrated and have a more detailed description than the US version.
The book is in a good used condition. The manual comes from a former GM dealership, and as such has been used by the mechanics in the dealership. It may have some dust and stains on the cover, and greasy finger prints on some pages
. The book is large, and is approx 1/2 inch thick, and has approx 170 pages. It contains all the information that a mechanic needs for the repair of these type of vehicles.
It cover the following chapters:
GENERAL INFORMATION
MAINTENANCE LUBRICATION CHARTS BRAKES SUSPENSION - STEERING - WHEELS & TIRES REAR AXLE CLUTCH / DRIVE LINE MANUAL TRANSMISSION AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ENGINE - REPAIR & REBUILD IGNITION SYSTEM FUEL SYSTEM COOLING SYSTEM EXHAUST SYSTEM CHARGING SYSTEM STARTER SYSTEM LIGHTS - WIRING VENTILATING - HEATING - RADIO BODY SOFT TRIM INDEX
Even though this book is for a 1956 I am sure most information can be used for other year models as well, as there was not many changes between the years.
These books are invaluable if you are able to do your own repair work. A similar manual on a car I owned saved me over $800.00 on a repair that I could do myself, as opposed to having a dealer do the service work.
The book should pay for itself after only one use.
This book is a MUST HAVE if you are still driving one of these older model vehicles.
Unfortunately we are located in Canada, and delivery may take longer than if it was mailed from a US address - Delivery is usually 7 to 10 business days.
We have several similar manuals on auction this week and will gladly combine items for the lowest shipping cost.
Shipping & Payment
Shipping for this item is only $6.35 (USPS FLAT RATE BOX) for all areas of North America, except CANADA which is $12.95, with very secure packaging. This is the actual cost of postage from Canada to the USA since Canada Post raised their rates on Jan. 12
For payment we accept PAYPAL, .
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING
and
GOOD LUCK BIDDING

Porsche Cajun - the baby Porsche Cayenne
It seems like the car world has been predicting a ‘baby’ Porsche Cayenne ever since the original stepped on to the world stage in 2003. The baby Cayenne has long been dubbed ‘Roxster’, but it appears it will in fact be the Porsche Cajun. VW boss Martin Winterkorn – who by default is now Porsche’s boss – has been giving Der Spiegel the benefit of his thoughts on all things car, and in particular all things VW.

What you’re looking at here is quite possibly the ultimate ‘pony car’ – a brand-new slab of American muscle heavily tinged with retro flair, six years in the making. It’s called the Equus Bass 770, it’s powered by a 640hp 6.2-litre suprecahrged V8, and you can buy one priced from $253,000. Which is around £157,000.

Audi TT Sportback concept – it’s a 5-door TT
Audi has long been the master of the niche, so it’s no real surprise they’re looking for ways to ‘extend’ the Audi TT in to a series of new niche models. The latest take is this, the Audi TT Sportback concept, which has arrived at the Paris Motor Show as a big brother to the TT Coupe, with an extra pair of doors and an extra 290mm in length. Audi has also played with the look of the TT Sportback, with a new hexagonal grill, new headlights and a new bumper up front and the new tail lights and smaller back window give the TT Sportback an individual look (well, as individual as an Audi ever gets).
