This is an original 1956 Thunderbird all STEEL rear continental spare tire gravel or stone guard with new seal kit installed. This gravel guard is uniquely Thunderbird and was used on all 1956 Thunderbirds from the factory. The bracket on the backside mounts to the continental hinge and pivots with the hinge when the spare tire is lowered. A set of new edge seals was also installed. The former owner applied chip guard to the underside of the guard before painting it colonial white. These steel stone guards have been obsolete from Ford Motor Company for nearly 50 years. The reproductions are fiberglass. Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or fiberglass stone guard with a steel original. See my eBay Store for more Ford,Thunderbird, Lincoln and Mercury parts. Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak – Sebastian Loeb is impressed (video)
Sat, 11 May 2013The Pikes Peak hillclimb is an awesome event with more than 150 turns on a course more than 12 miles long running up in to the clouds at the summit of Pikes Peak Mountain. This year Peugeot are back to take on Pikes Peak in a car they like to describe as a Peugeot 208, but apart from the name it has nothing much more than a passing resemblance to Peugeot’s latest hatchback. For a start, it has a 3.2 litre twin-turbo V6 that delivers an incredible 875bhp which is enough to get to 62mph in a neck snapping 1.8 seconds and 150mph in an equally unbelievable 7 seconds.
Future products: Suzuki Swift on hold as VW reviews plans

The Swift, a small car popular in Europe and Japan, was scheduled to go on sale in the United States this year.
