Original 1956 Willys jeep that needs some help.   Serial number 57548 42512.   This jeep runs strong and shifts very well.    The radiator is in great shape with no leaks and holds pressure.   I came into possession of this jeep last year with the intentions of pulling the motor/ tranny and throwing it into a M38 willys but just don't have the time or space for another project.    It would make a good plow vehicle for a parking lot or driveway with very little work.   As it sits, some brake work and a Muffler is all it needs to operate fine as a plow vehicle again.   The body is in poor condition with a bit of rot.  This jeep is great for parts or for someone looking to get a little crazy with a restoration.    I do not have a title but can give a Connecticut Q1 standard  Bill of sale.     I can put a used battery in it at time of sale.    The jeep can be loaded under its own power for shipping.   I do not offer shipping, responsibility of buyer to make shipping arrangements or pickup in person.  A good shipping service is U-Ship.    Jeep is located in Berlin CT.  Any questions, please ask. The plow does work fine.

Relive Volvo's 'Emotion of Design' Google Hangout

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

If you missed out on Volvo's ‘Emotion of Design' Google Hangout, which was broadcast on Volvo's YouTube channel on 28 November, you can relive it here. The Hangout, which featured Volvo's exterior design chief Maximilian Missoni, neuropsychologist Dr David Lewis and Wallpaper magazine's automotive correspondent Jonathan Bell, discussed the results of the Swedish carmaker's experiment to measure the emotional response to the Volvo Concept Coupé – among other things – using an electroencephalographic (EEG) machine. Participants were asked to rate a series of images while wearing an EEG headset measuring brainwave activity, with results showing that car design and emotions were inexorably linked.

2012 Jaguar XK Convertible Spied

Sat, 22 Jan 2011

The 2012 Jaguar XK Convertible - suitably camouflaged Just last week we ran a story about a camouflaged Jaguar XJ running around on trade plates. We’d picked the photo up from Autoblog, who reckoned the photo was a facelift for the XK as a final titivate next year. We thought the trade plates were to protect the long-expected Jaguar XK Diesel from a DVLA registration check divulging it was burning oil.
