1957 1956 1955 Ford  Thunderbird Port Hole Hard Top Fiberglass Used

I know no history on this item.  It's a fiberglass top in need of restoration.  There is no major cracks or breaks that I can see.  It has scratches throughout on the top as you can see from the pictures, and will need the plexiglass windows replaced as they have spider cracks all through them.  The rubber around the door glass looks good, but the rubber around the porthole windows will need some attention.  I don't know if this is original equipment or aftermarket and really have know idea the value, so the first reasonable offer takes it.  This is for local pick up only, so please do not purchase unless you can pick up.

Volvo's Mean Green semi breaks records in Utah

Wed, 02 May 2012

The Volvo hybrid truck, a.k.a. Mean Green, achieved two world speed records at Wendover Airfield in Utah, one for the standing kilometer and one for the flying kilometer. It didn't hit its planned top velocity of 165 mph, but 147 mph is still a respectable speed for a truck originally meant for hauling trailers down a highway.

Orphan Car Show highlights long-gone classics

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Marvelous as it is a setting for car shows, Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Mich., does present a risk: The park is built in the floodplain of the Huron River. When organizers showed up to stage this year's Orphan Car Show--the nation's largest to feature cars built by companies that no longer do business in America--on June 6, they found the judging stand underwater. An impromptu “show” throughout nearby Depot Town and at the host Miller Motors Hudson/Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum wasn't quite the same thing.

Rolls-Royce Wraith (2013) second teaser of 600bhp coupe

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

This is part three of Rolls-Royce’s pre-Geneva motor show tease of its new Wraith coupe. We’ve already seen a ghostly interpretation of the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, and a side profile shot that revealed a resemblance to a ’68 Mustang Fastback, and now Rolls has shown the rear of the Wraith, and made a few proud proclamations about just how powerful its new super-coupe will be. I can’t see much of the new Rolls-Royce Wraith… Unfortunately it’s another shadowy teaser from Rolls-Royce, in the same vein as the side profile silhouette.
