We bought 19 upholstry sample books after a museum moved from Arizona several years ago, 1955 through 1985 and only a few years are missing in between.

The books are 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1984 and 1985.

I love the sample books but after we moved our shop we don't have room for all books and other memrobilia so we have to sell a few things.

I can't remember if I paid $2500 or $3500 when I bought them so I'll start the auction at $1500 for all 19 books, I will not split them up.

No reserve auction so highest bidder will own the books!

Payment is required within 7 days. The part will be shipped as soon as payment has been received.

We ship worldwide. We send containers regularly to Sweden and can offer inexpensive shipping to Scandinavia.

Porsche 918 Spyder to get 875bhp to take on McLaren P1 & LaFerrari

Tue, 02 Apr 2013

The Porche 918 Spyder – Porsche’s hybrid supercar – is to get a power boost and go on a diet to better compete with the McLaren P1 and LaFerrari. But the duo of hybrid supercars at Geneva will become a trio at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September when the Porsche 918 Spyder gets revealed in final production form before heading for a select group of customers in 2014. It does seem to have taken Porsche quite a while to get the 918 Spyder in production-ready guise  but it seems they may have been waiting to see what McLaren and Ferrari had up their collective sleeves before settling on a production specification for the 918 Spyder.

Land Rover Defender Harris Tweed (2012) prototype

Fri, 16 Nov 2012

Here's a curious mix of classic Britishness and modern modifications: a Kahn-tuned Land Rover Defender fitted with a butch bodykit, enormous multispoke wheels and knobbly tyres and - inside -tweed-trimmed bucket seats. It's like a Spitfire wearing a Damien Hurst-penned livery. This is, to give the car its full title, the Kahn Defender Concept 17 Wide Body - Harris Tweed Prototype.

New Hyundai Genesis heading for the UK?

Sun, 15 Sep 2013

Is the Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis (pictured) heading for the UK as the new Hyundai Genesis? The Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis Concept arrived at the Detroit Auto Show in January and, concept fripperies apart, previewed the next generation of the Hyundai that wants to be a Korean Lexus – the Hyundai Genesis. The Hyundai Genesis has been selling like hot cakes in the Land of the Free for some time, but until now it wasn’t a car Hyundai felt had a place in its UK line-up.
