Pair of 1957 Chrysler 300C sill plates

Not sure if 1957 and 1958 use the same plate.

The passenger side is in fantastic shape with zero rot. Has few dings and the typical scratches. No cracks

The drivers side has very little carpet rot.  Does have a few dings and the typical scratches.  Has a small stamping crack at the very rear.

Nether one is twisted

Looks like someone painted them grey.   Almost looks like they were sand blasted on top but when I scratch them it's shinny.

Designer Paul Smith launches exhibition

DESIGN GURU Sir Paul Smith has given a glimpse into his world with a re-creation of his office forming part of a new exhibition dedicated to his work. The fashion star takes centre-stage at the Design Museum in London for the next four months with items from his vast archive on display. Sir Paul was at the launch today, posing alongside colourful life-size cardboard cut-outs and showing off sketches, designs and other paraphernalia from his lengthy career as one of Britain's best-known creative forces.

Mini celebrates 50 years since Monte win

IT'S 50 years since the iconic Mini Cooper S won the Monte Carlo Rally and to mark the occasion the famous car and its driver have been brought back together. Paddy Hopkirk took the Mini to its maiden win on the Monte Carlo Rally, and the car went on to win again in 1965 and 1967. It should also have won in 1966, but it was denied due to a technical infringement with its lights.
