Jaguar Land Rover – Clever Finance Deal

Mon, 16 Nov 2009

JLR releases £170 million by financing cars in transit Car makers have been begging lines of credit from wherever they can in the last year as the recession has bitten hard in to their finances. Jaguar Land Rover started off down the Government Loan route, but it soon became clear that the strings attached to any Government sourced finance where unacceptable. The Gallardo Spyder (centre) is painted in Marrone Apus, a colour Lambo describes as ‘halfway between brown and black’, but there is a golden reflection due to a special pigment in the paint.

Caterham CDX Limited Edition: first pictures

Tue, 10 Jun 2008

By Dimitri Pesin First Official Pictures 10 June 2008 16:03 Caterham has returned to its K-series roots with a new version of its Seven, dubbed the CDX Limited Edition. Not a catchy moniker perhaps, but the new car has been built to commemorate 15 years of the Caterham Driving Experience (CDX) – the track days where you can drift or slalom a Seven. As well as the gloss black paint, plus decals along the sides mimicking the CDX cars, the big news is the return of the K-series powerplant delivering 135bhp through a five-speed ‘box.
