NORS replacement rear carpeting, black closed-loop style, part number 1166, and should replace GM part number 4737643.

The box lists this for 1957 - 1958 Buick Super, Roadmaster and Limited 2dr hardtop and convertible. But, this is most certainly not the correct style and texture of carpeting for Roadmaster or Limited. It may fit, but is not the correct style.

It should also fit 1957 and 1958 Oldsmobile 98 and Cadillac Coupe DeVille and Convertible DeVille, but there again, the style/texture of carpet is most likely not correct, even though it should fit.

Now, the bad news. This was rolled up in a box, and sitting in a barn, and a mouse decided this would be the perfect place for his nest, and thus the holes you see at the back edge of the carpet. I don't know if these holes will be invisible as it tucks up under the front of the back seat, or not. The one hole's front edge is about 3-3/4" from the back of the stitched seam at the back, so you'll have to judge. Or maybe you could patch them, and not have them show up too bad. In picture #2, the one with the tape measure extending left of the holes, the tape measure is set at zero at the center of the transmission tunnel hump, so that you can see the positioning of the holes from the center of the car.

At any rate, the price is much cheaper than most of the carpeting places get for carpets, so you'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth the gamble or not. Sorry, this is just the rear carpet, there is no front carpet with this.

Peugeot Epure concept (2006): first official pictures

Fri, 08 Sep 2006

By Chris Chilton First Official Pictures 08 September 2006 00:01 The lowdown Peugeot calls it a concept but let's not kid ourselves: this is the 207CC. A successor to the 206CC, the car that brought folding metal hardtops to the woman in the street, next spring's production CC will look almost identical to the Epure. But don't expect to find the concept's engine under the showroom CC's nose: the Epure employs hydrogen power.

Land Rover & Range Rover: Geneva Motor Show 2013

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

No new models at Geneva for Land Rover, but there is the new Range Rover Evoque Black Design Pack, Evoque 9-speed auto ‘box and electric Land Rover Defender. But despite no new models from Land Rover or Range Rover, there are new options and new technology on offer. Probably of most interest is the new 9-speed auto ‘box for the Range Rover Evoque – replacing the current 6-speed auto box which should offer a lot more relaxing – and economical cruise – on motorways as well as make change more seamless.

Poor driving posture a pain in the neck

Wed, 28 May 2014

THE WRONG driving position could be putting millions of commuters' health at risk, according to a major physiotherapists' organisation. Drivers who don’t adjust their car seat and steering wheel to suit their individual needs are risking significant further problems, says the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Latest census figures for England and Wales reveal that almost two-thirds of workers (15.3 million) commute by car and the CSP says poor driving posture is a key factor that can lead to musculoskeletal problems such as back and neck pain.
