Here is a cool looking used vintage outside rear view mirror that we recently acquired. This mirror was an accessory on the 57 and 58 Buicks, but I have seen it used on many different ratrods and custom cars. It is in good driver condition, but not perfect. The mirror glass is not broken or cracked, but as you can see in the third picture, it has red and black discoloration all around the outside edge. You can still see in it, but you really should take it to your local glass company and have another mirror glass cut for it. I have done that before on some Cadillac mirrors I had, and it is not expensive at all. The chrome is very shiny. If you giant size all of the pictures you will see that it does have pitting in the chrome, but it isn't totally covered in pits, they are just kind of scattered about here and there. There are no breaks, cracks, dents, or dings in it and it would be perfect for a daily driver type of car. Winning bidder pays only $9.00 shipping anywhere in the US. Int'l extra. Good luck!!

Sat, 26 Jun 2010Is this the BMW 0 Series? If BMW are going to go further downmarket in their quest for more sales – which we know they are with their plans for front wheel drive BMWs – then short of a sub-brand marque (entirely possible some will wear the Isetta or i-setta badge) then the only number we have to play with is a big, fat 0. It seems daft to give a BMW a leading 0 and its own series, but it certainly looks to be under consideration.

Starring several of the winning students as well as the prize-giving event at the Detroit auto show last month, the video features a number of judges and mentors including Mark Adams, executive director global Buick and Cadillac Design. GM and Car Design News's online contest aims to find the next generation of GM designers by presenting a challenge for students to tackle before being mentored on how to improve their designs.
