YOUR VIEWING A   1957 1958 ? DE SOTO FIREDOME GAUGES AND IGNITION SWITCH IN USED CONDITION.  Not 100 % sure on the exact year. We have taken the dash apart and selling the parts seperate. This is for the Gauges , amps, oil press, temp, and fuel. Nice chrome bezels on these with a little pitting nothing bad. All 4 faces and pretty good. working condition unknown. You also age bidding on the ignition switch, sorry no key. And a small light? not sure what it does.  VERY HARD TO FIND.   PLEASE EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS!!  . Chris Bangle Associates announces 'Illustrate the Future' design competition

Chris Bangle Associates has announced a new design contest called 'Illustrate the Future.' The competition is open to all design students across all design disciplines and coincides with the launch of Managing Director, Chris Bangle's new book. "I have written a fiction book about Car Design and the prologue takes place 25 years in the future," says Bangle. "It contains some concepts I have been working on, and this contest is to see what YOU would make of them." Bangle's novel explores the state of affairs in the car design field and also expresses his concerns about the culture future generations of designers will inherit.

Smithsonian lets you vote on cars for exhibit

For the next few weeks, you can have a say in which vehicles from the Smithsonian car collection go on display this winter in Washington, D.C. For what is said to be the first time ever, the public can vote for one of eight featured vehicles, with the top two vote-getters going on display at the National Museum of American History from Jan. 22 through Feb.

Nissan Micra Sales fall in Europe Nissan trumpeted the new Micra as its ‘Global Compact Car’ in the run-up to its reveal at Geneva last year. And by ‘Global’ they meant ‘Produced in Emerging Markets’. Which is a big change from the last generation Micra which was produced in Sunderland, but a move that seemed to make sense in a world where small cars in emerging markets are a priority, and where cost of production is much lower.
