Original Ford Motorcraft FL-1A Filter - Embossed Top    Early 1980's issue

Up for your consideration is an original FL-1A Motorcraft oil filter in its original box.  The box is not so perfect looking, but the filter is pretty good, even though there's a minor amount of shop wear along the rim (as shown in the photos) from bouncing around in the box for 30+ years.   This filter fits all Ford, Mercury and Lincoln products, including Ford pickup and Bronco from 1957 on to the early 1980's, and well beyond the 80's for many Ford models.  It can be used anywhere an FL-1 or FL-1A is specified.  It also fits several non-Ford products.  The date code was smeared when produced (see picture #4) so I cannot determine the exact production date.  It came from a box lot of filters with 1981-82 date codes.  Embossed on the top of the filter is the word "Motorcraft" twice.  This is is not concours quality (my asking price reflects this) but it would be perfect for a period-correct Sunday driver.  E-mail me with any questions.  Please read the "FINE PRINT" below before you bid and thank you for your interest in my listing.

FINE PRINT:  As with any NOS part, there is no return if any attempt is made to install it.  I will accept returns otherwise for any reason, just keep the part in NOS condition.  Buyer agrees to these terms before bidding.  Quoted shipping is to the Lower 48 United States only.  Purchasers outside the Lower 48, please wait for my invoice.  You will be charged only the actual freight to your address.

Volvo V60 revealed officially

Mon, 05 Jul 2010

The Volvo V60 - bows in a bit early It doesn’t usuallt take too long once a new car is oured on the web in all its production-ready glory for the maker to bite the bullet and do an official reveal. Which is why we get the official Volvo V60 photo and information today – a bit earlier than Volvo had planned – after a Swedish car mag outed the new estate. In case you hadn’t cottoned on the Volvo V60 is the estate version of the Volvo S60, although it does seem as if Volvo is none too keen on us calling it an estate.
