Orlando, Florida, US
1957 Corvette and Bel Air Rochester fuel injection unit. This model is the 4520 (7014520) unit which is the second design for 1957 along with the 906 (1110906) distributor, fuel filter and bracket. This unit carries serial number 1753 This unit appears to have never been modified or altered in any way. It has never been polished at any point nor has it ever been welded. the unit has been in storage since 1978 (35 years) it appears to have been rebuild before that time and has been installed on a motor because there is a little blue intake gasket film on the bottom of the intake and if it was driven it couldnt have been very much. the fuel injection setup and fuel filter and bracket was stored in a utility room in a box and there was a rat nest in the box the fuel filter and bracket has some surface rust from rat urine and some pieces on the fuel injection unit, please look at the pics, since i can not test any of the parts i am selling them as-is, please ask all the questions you have before bidding I am more than happy to answer them or assist you in any way I can. i have the fuel injection listed local so i reserve the right to end the auction early.

McLaren DOESN’T stop production of the MP4-12C to fix problems.
Sat, 08 Oct 2011McLaren MP4-12C problems haven't stopped production The McLaren MP4-12C is McLaren’s first road car in almost twenty years, and it appears that the new 458 competitor from Woking has a few problems. Reports have been cropping up for some weeks that MP4-12C owners have been plagued (well, plagued is harsh) by a raft of problems including a battery drainage issue (something many cars suffer from early on), headlight condensation and glitchy door operation. McLaren are adamant none of the issues affecting the 12C are safety related and it is therefore continuing to build the cars, so although there will be a delay for some new owners in delivery, the issues should cause no long term back log in deliveries.

BMW i8 Winter testing (video)
Sat, 11 Feb 2012The BMW i8 is caught on video cold weather testing We have video of the BMW i8 winter testing in deep snow, in what looks to be a a much closer to production i8. The BMW i8 has been floating around for nearly three years as BMW’s nod to an eco future for supercars. Starting with the Vision EfficientDynamics concept we saw back in 2009, BMW went on to reveal their ‘i’ Brand and reveal the BMW i8 last summer. With the i8 not likely to hit showrooms until late 2013 or early 2014, BMW are out doing what car makers do and testing their new cars in extreme weather, this time it’s cold weather testing and footage of the i8 frolicking with the snow ploughs.
