BMW previews new M4
Fri, 19 Jul 2013BMW has revealed several retro-fit enhancements for the new 4-series coupe, part of its M-Performance line of options. In the process the company has provided the first clues to its upcoming M4's appearance; the M4 will replace the just-discontinued BMW M3, and sources tell Autoweek the new performance coupe will make its world debut at the Detroit auto show next January. The performance package consists of an aggressive aero kit, various interior trim upgrades and suspension modifications.

The eScooter will be shown at the Paris motor show in concept form, but has been confirmed as part of Smart's future urban mobility strategy. According to industry insiders, Laurens van den Acker is set become the new Design Director at Renault when Patrick le Quément retires later this year. One of the most pre-eminent car designers in the world, Patrick le Quément began his design career at Simca, worked at Ford for 17 years and did a brief stint at Volkswagen before taking the top design job at Renault.
