Up for consideration a set of 5, 17.5 x 5.25 Chevrolet & GMC 8 lug NON split rims correct for 1957-1966 panel truck Suburban pickup truck, step van etc . One wheel has a legible 1958 date.
All lug holes are good, all hub cap clips are intact, one of the rims has a small ding in the back outer edge otherwise all wheels are straight and free of damage. 4 of the wheels have pitting on the tire side. 2 are pitted pretty badly, but should be ok with tubes in the tires. 2 have a small amount of pitting on the face. All five have been sand blasted and primed to prevent rusting. Hard to find in a set like this . Sold as is. |

Citroën designers: Design students have 'golden opportunity'

Though the automotive industry has been suffering in many regions in the current economic climate, the next generation of car designers "have got a fantastic opportunity," says Andrew Cowell, Senior Design Manager at Citroën, in conversation with Car Design News at the Royal College of Art, London. "The industry will evolve quite a lot, and these guys (the students on the postgraduate Vehicle Design course) will come out into a very different world." "They'll start in a very interesting period", says Alexandre Malval, Citroën Design Director and himself a graduate from the RCA course.
