Here we have an NOS GENUINE FORD MOTORCRAFT NEW 1957,58, 59, 60, 61, 70, 72,THRU 1974 ALL FORD, MERCURY, THUNDERBIRD, LINCOLN, TRUCK, ETC. V8, DISTRIBUTOR CONDENSOR. Although my camera did not pick up the part marking clearly, it is marked MOTORCRAFT, B9FA-12300-A. This unit has the correct 3.00 inch lead length. This condensor fits all V8s, 292, 312, 352, 390, 406, 410,427, 428 etc. Some after-market and off-shore condensors have shorter leads which make it difficult to install properly in your distributor. Nanjing Automotive Corporation, the Chinese company that bought the assets of the bankrupt MG Rover in 2005, has lifted the lid on its plans. Assembly of up to 15,000 TFs annually will begin in the first half of next year, at the mothballed West Midlands plant.

As far as we can see, the Land Rover Defender is so iconic that Tata would have to find a way to keep it viable and in production even if they lost money on every Defender they built.
