This is a set of 3 1957 Cadillac hubcaps with 4 1956 Mercury hubcap centers. The hubcaps are drilled to put the centers on them, but there are no cadillac centers in the hubcaps. They make a neat looking hubcap when you put the Mercury centers on the hubcap. The hubcaps are all nice in the spoke and center area, but all have dings in the outer perimeter where they have been installed on a wheel. The Mercury centers vary in the amount of pitting and chrome lifting. These would look really nice on a 1949-51 Mercury Lead Sled. Please look at the pictures closely, and if questions be sure to ask. I accept Pay Pal.

New concepts to be revealed at Pebble Beach

Tue, 16 Aug 2011

The international auto show in Frankfurt is but a few weeks away, yet for important new cars in the American market there's further proof that traditional auto shows such as Detroit are being shunned as launch venues in favor of more exclusive and pretigious events. That's because Cadillac, Infiniti, Lexus, Lotus and possibly a few others are set to reveal new production and concept cars at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance later this week. Lexus is set to unveil its production GS350 (previewed by the Lf-Gh concept in New York earlier this year), the fourth generation of its luxury sports sedan, on August 18, while Cadillac's 2013 ATS will also be revealed.

General Motors EN-V to be branded Chevrolet

Thu, 13 Oct 2011

Chevrolet was gifted a centennial birthday present today, with parent company GM announcing that its 2030 Vision concept would carry the bow-tie badge. The youthful orientation and entry level positioning of Chevrolet within the GM portfolio subtly earmarks the intended audience for the EN-V, with the device being billed as an inexpensive and attainable urban mobility vehicle. "The EN-V has the potential to reinvent transportation in key markets by creating a new vehicle DNA through the convergence of electrification and connectivity," said Chris Borroni-Bird, GM's director of Advanced Technology Vehicle Concepts.

Ford Edge stars at 2013 LA Motor Show

Thu, 21 Nov 2013

Unveiled to same fanfare at the LA Motor Show, the Ford Edge Concept gives us more than a hint as to what Ford’s new full-size SUV will look like. It’s part of Ford’s bold plan to build ‘world cars’ that suit every market, not just supersized Americans. Based on the Mondeo, it will sit above the Kuga in Ford’s line-up and we reckon a European version could be launched as early as next year.
