1957 Chevy Frame/chassis Set With 9 Inch Ford Ready For Big Block And 700r4 on 2040-parts.com
Virginia Beach, Virginia, US
This Is a 1957 chevy frame that I just took out of my 1957 Nomad that was a driver. Rear needs shock brace/ bar even better put coil overs on it and do away with the stock rear springs.
The rear of the frame was reinforced back in the 90s we put a box all the way around the frame. The full frame was sand blasted and we added a trans mount and a new rear brace and a ladder bar brace all to make it stronger to handle a big block. The motor placement will let the motor fit with a stock steering box and stock windshield wiper motor and even a stock deluxe heater. This set up drove real nice on long trips had a good ride to it. The front springs can be set for different ride heights and different ride. The wilwood calipers look good and stop great.
would be a great time to redo the springs and put coil overs in the rear and get rid of the stock springs. Pics of motor and body of car is just to show you what it came out of they are not part of the auction.
The wheels are 15 inch center lines p215 front and p245 in the back. Please ask if you have any questions
